Fundraising for Research
It is vital that an effective treatment is found for Long Covid and ME/CFS. To do this requires dedication, expertise and targeted research into the three golden areas - pathophysiology, biomarkers & treatment. Yet we see many government-funded studies falling short of the mark. Therefore, it is essential that experienced researchers in post-acute viral medicine receive support.

To enable this global effort, LCA has 3 aims:

1. To act as a bridge to high-quality research that people can donate directly too
​
2. To fundraise & donate all our profits to biomedical, medical research
​
3. To advocate & lobby for government infrastructure for £100 million a yr in biomedical research.

We dedicate our profits to Long Covid and ME/CFS research in the UK and Firstly to the Polybio Research Foundation who investigate the biological drivers of infection-associated chronic conditions including Long Covid, ME/CFS and Lyme. Secondly, to ME Research UK who commission and fund high-quality biomedical studies.
